Chomped, Chewed, Gnawed Raw, Hoping I'll Get Many More
 
Ouch it bit me on the ass
Excuse me if I'm sounding crass
Didn't know it's teeth were bared
Bitten big and plenty scared
 
Comes and bites me every year
I'm it's prey, that much is clear
Why its got this greedy hunger
Nibbled soft when I was younger
 
Now it bites me on the butt
Bites my shins when I strut
Bites my brain and memory
Bites my vision, I can't see
 
Rips my energy to shreds
Gonna bite me, till I'm dead
Bites me when I'm feeling good
Scars me round like  rings on wood
 
What's this thing with hungry fangs
Fifty two now form a gang
It's my birthdays nipping me
Next taste I'll be fifty three

And don't forget that our birthday cakes become fire hazards. Huh, 52? Yeah, we're also at the stage that by the time we light the last candle on the cake, the first has already gone out.

Incidentally, I've been 21 for over 31 years now.

The best thing to do is to turn around and bite the bugger... then laugh, toss OUR mane, and then put our arm through the bugger's arm and head, together, for a full pampering spree (beautician, hairdresser, new drop-dead-sexy lingerie, ya know, the works). The bugger will still look like s..t, but we'll look GORGEOUS and feel WONDERFUL! LOL! Trust me... this what I do, and every year the bugger gets more wrinkled, while I get more... whistles! ;0)

Good grief - I didn't know you where that bloody old! I thought you were about 38. It's relentlss isn't it Anita. This river of fast flowing time we're all in. One of these days we are all going to pass that last chance Texaco and we'll all wake up dead.

I'll be over later with a bottle of wine. Let's celebrate our decrepitude.

Ouch it bit me on the ass!

Well then, Happy Belated Bite Day, Queenie! And being a bit older, I can tell you its bites get bigger, and they hurt a lot more - every friggin year!

PS I glue cookies on my butt every birthday now, to try and soften it's bite on me!
