If we could all hear one another's prayers, God might be relieved of some of his burdens. ~Ashleigh Brilliant

Asian Sea

She felt thoughts that came to be
Relaxing by an Asian sea
As though another asked advise
Without a word, and yet concise

The question formed was not her own
For she sat by the shore alone
A wind's plea of inquirey
A haunting from an Asian sea

The mind plays tricks, as we well know
As thoughts unbidden come and go
Insistent question came by row
Upon the waves both high and low

A soul sat on another shore
And to the sea she did implore
She spoke the language of salt tears
As they splashed into waves come near

As there beside an Asian sea
A woman felt another's plea
For long ago she felt the same
Alone, afraid, and full of pain

Then in her heart, she said a prayer
For one in need, out there, somewhere
For there by spirit, hands were clutched
And comfort cloaked, without a touch

Anita,
They say prayers do wonders. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I guess it depends on what's meant to be. This poem is haunting. I feel this moment as if I've lived it before...sitting in deep thought. Love and Hugs,
Sheila

Ah, three thousand miles over the ocean, three thousand light years from the land of the rising sun - captured by her loneliness; her enchanting beauty shimmering magically.
A breath away from heaven

That girl crossed the sea. She found a home, here by me. Her name is Beh and she's everything to me.

this is remarkable in time and place, Anita. I love how the breath of prayer - REAL prayer - unites the soul and spirit of the world, regardless of creed, gender or race. Intercession might be described as understanding the heart of God for another person... or, conversely, uplifting the REAL needs as seen by God FOR another soul. You have expressed that innate "knowing" direct from the mind of God into the spirit of one woman here. Such prayer can't help but be effective because it stems from the source, the Godhead itself. I love this very tangible expression of a supernatural gifting and grace. LOVE IT! Kate xx

A stunning piece of writing expressing the depth and infinite qualities of the tides, also of the souls who dwell by the waters edge. Very moving and serene. Thank you.
