I'm The Candy Ogre


The view is dim and grey
Foul weather coats the glass
But streaks of clear betray
Cruel dread of night's harress

The sight between the slivers 
Is tossed in windswept waves
As terror teases shivers
Soft footsteps cross your grave

Step back, and close the curtain
Turn out the lights, now hide
As voices warn, it's certain
Tonight the demons ride

You hear their hellish laughter
They mock and taunt the good
For in their stay and after
Their evil's understood

Cower in the starkness
Pray for the sun to rise
Revenge comes after darkness
When masked the begger's cry

TRICK OR TREAT!!


Now Mischief Night is over
Halloween's new attitude
Now I'm the candy ogre
No treats for you.....YOU'RE SCREWED!

The kids around me are always so mean... they ask me "Trick or Treat" and I say "I'll have a treat, please." Seems like a no-brainer to me. But then they just slope off, muttering curses under their breath. Shame, cos otherwise I might have given THEM candy! :)) You told 'em, PaxLove'nLight xx
