                                 I'm Sorry

As time goes by, and I grow old,
I decided to tell the story, that was never told.

I"m sorry mom, that I got you mad,
I" sorry , that I made you sad.

I"m sorry mom, you didn't love me, from the start,
I'm sorry mom, that you really, broke my heart.

I'm sorry mom, that I wasn't, what you needed,
I'm sorry mom, that our fights, were always heated.

I'm sorry mom, you had hit me so much,
I'm sorry mom, all I ever wanted, was your touch.

I'm sorry mom, I was ever put on this earth,
I'm sorry mom, you had to suffer through my birth.

I love you mom, and I always will,
But I realize now, you hate me still.

When something can't be aquired, no matter how much you try,
You finally grow up and realize, You'll never earn it until the day you die.

The Bible say's, honor thy father, and mother,
In cases like this, too bad we can't pick another.

I would have loved, to been placed in a foster home,
But way back then, you were more or less on your own.

My mother and father, are both gone now,
I could never bring myself, to disrespect them, and tell my story anyhow.
