Just in case I pass you by and forget to say hello,
Or notice that your hand is out, remind me as I go.
Remind me that my visit here, is just a speck in time,
I could be standing in your shoes, while you walk by in mine.


Remind me not to judge you, for who am I to say,
My life means more than yours does, as I smugly walk away.
Remind me you are human and equal to us all,
Your spirit soared the same as mine, before you took the fall.


Remind me there's a soul inside, pretending not to care,
A soul who may have lost its way, while drifting off somewhere.
Remind me to look in your eyes and feel the close connection,
Of the kindred spirits, yours and mine, and see my own reflection.


Remind me not so long ago, we knew each other then.
Another time, another place, another way back when.
Remind me to look deep inside and recall the one I know,
Remind me, yes remind me...please remind me as I go.
