I am not like others, nor are we all… but there is something mystical that separates me from the rest… it is part of the great mystery of life… ~Lily of Lough Neagh~

Novembers Heart

A heart of love sees through the dark
Love and Light within her heart
Lie with me o' beauty thine
Midnight dreams, Venus divine

Was she what you sought to be
for passions heart of destiny?
Was she too o'tender sweet
Eyes of green o'misty be

Coolness touches tear stained cheek
alas her heart it was so weak
the good of man was all she sought
alas her heart tied in a knot

Struggles she to lift her up
weakness claims her, way too much
fly naught more though once she stood
lying down misunderstood

Sorrow breaks the broken heart
midnight dreams no more thou art
Her love so strong not strong enough
a gift alas like candle snuffed

You are, indeed, different from all the rest because you have a way of writing ethereal poetry that reaches down into the heart and raises us all up, even in loss.

Whether you write about lost love or found love, you write it with such a passion and beauty that it always touches deeply.
You're heart in all it's vulnerability is filled with pure love.

Very touching and beautiful in its sensitiveness Carolee

Touching poem of a loving heart willing to see beyond human error but broken. Such sweet sorrow and weakness as you struggle to rise above to reach the heart of love and light yet the flame was snuffed.

i do hope you were inspired to write this as the wonderful writer you are and that this is not from a personal recent heart break that you should not have to endure as you such a loving inspiration to so many.

Eloquent as always! That first line is oh so true for me! As dark as situations become it seems we can still see the light, or goodness within a bad one. Yes.

Love ya!

This is a beautiful poem. Mysticle things surround us some good some not. Someitmes we only see when it crashes down on us.

Stay well and keep writing

This is probably the most depressing poem I have ever read that you wrote. Carol. I know that we all have these moments, but you seem to be able to rise above them with quick dispatch. Would this be the case now. Maybe I read the poem with too cynical an eye. I sincerely hope so.
