True love is worth waiting for even if it takes a lifetime. Then in return a lifetime of love will be waiting for you...

She stood in the distance
among nature divine
he peered with a glimmer
that shone in his eyes

He knew in an instant...
no doubt could there be
she must be the one
he plainly could see

So far out of reach
not even to touch
though thru dark came her light
his heart dances with love

His strength has been up
and then its been down
but he's held on for years
it's been worth it for now...

He found his true love
like the stars up above
was the wait all so worth it?
It most certainly was...

Oh, I absolutely believe the wait has been very much worth it for both of you. When true love is gained it matters not the time of waiting, the downs and ups. When true love is attained everything is worth it.
