See, the heavens never speak,
But their graceful transformations
Mutely flow thru the four seasons.
The sagely kings of great antiquity
Embodied Heaven and took Earth
As their role model and patterns.
They issued orders and the world
Attained poise of the dark and bright;
They governed lands and ruled men
By means of naturalness, causing
Their people's hearts to be compliant
And their wills to be submissive,
While also establishing rules and regulations
And restrictive measures and
Making preparations against decline.
They bent their subjects and allies
To their wills by virtue of grace authority,
Bonding them through their trust
And motivating them with mutual rewards.
