We all believe that what we do is right;
Yes, we all have such an inherent right
Because it has been written by us; that's it.
There're a hundred chapters in your MS --
In which one you will meet your end?
In which one you will be reborn, but
As a fair fool, who else? Well, it happens.
But don't be sad of that; you are not alone.
Then it turns that you're not idly treading
The threads in the world and learn the truth,
Trampling down lush grass but not for nothing.
However, there's only falsehood in your head
Because your intellect has been left
Somewhere on the previous pages; hence,
An incarnation is your appropriate remedy.
For you, the entire world will be so much
That you never even dream about such;
As a result, you'll say goodbye to your ignorance
And foolishness -- the only guarantee
Of your placidity. Is it what you've dreamed about?
Now, you're involved into decision making,
And lots of burdens are on your shoulders, poor boy!
But you think you're smarter than all of them. . .
You're a winner who defeats them all;
Your brain's crystal will ensure you great progress.
You'll mount yourself on a high pedestal
To be then seen by all from there, and chased
By all envious and petty men around you in plenty.
And on the other page another sworn enemy
Has threatened you already with an ambush, . .
As a result, the taken infighting will bring you to capture.
So, no freedom will be seen in the upcoming perspective,
And all your body and mind will strive for your right
To live and breathe behind your own prison's bars.
Yeah...it's like you learn at home, then from friends at play, then the institutions of "learning", and so forth. But no matter what, you must be you. Don't let "them" mold your mind like clay!
Poetry. Various urgent, lively, and sometimes haunting poems appear here alongside stark black and white photos of Jones' homeless subjects. Jones takes on the plight of the homeless in different voices, echoing the thoughts of people on the streets,
