Frills – Failings – Faults - and All.
Tickles your Fancy –
When you’re Down in the Dumps!

A Friend - Kicks you in the Butt –
Just when you Need it!
Listens to your Crap –
Then – Gives you some Lumps!

A Friend - Knows just what to Say –
Or – when Not to Speak –
And when you Offend –
Turns the other Cheek!

A Friend – Laughs with you when you are Happy –
Cries with you when you are Sad –
Keeps all your Secrets –
Even when they’re real Bad!

A Friend – Knows just what Buttons to Push –
To change your Mood –
And can Lift your Spirits –
Whenever you Brood!

A Friend – Is always Close at Hand –
When you must have a Hug –
And eases your Heart-Strings –
When you’ve got a Bug!

A Friend – Is always a Phone-Call Away –
And is ever so Dear –
To help you Rejoice –
Or to Dry each Tear!

A Friend – Truly Cares –
And Stays by your Side –
Through Thick and Thin –
A Friend – Will Always Abide!
