Yep - You might say I have a 'Relationship' with THEM! NO ... Not the Nurses (I WISH) - the SPUDS - Silly!

“SPUDS” © - Tom Hyland - 5/5/11 Never met an Irish or Idaho Tater I didn’t Like! Can’t say the same for Sweet Taters And/or Yams - Yuk! Potatoes, or Spuds, any way but Raw - Baked, Mashed, Hashed, Fried, French-Fried, Boiled, Broiled, Au Gratin ... Any way prepared - never Rotten! Chopped, Diced - even Grated - Spuds tickle my Taste Buds, Never ever Over-Rated - “You say Po-tat-o - I say Po-tot-o!” “Let’s call the Whole Thing Off!” Any way you Cut It - My hat I will Doff! Even ‘Potato Buds’ is Spuds! Baked - Smothered in Both Sour Cream And Butter - ‘Ooh-La-La’ - I will Sputter! Western Fries - Doused with Both Ketchup And Tabasco - Mashed - Drowning in Gravy! Yep - I’m a ‘Meat n’ Potatoes Man’ Gim’me, Gim’me, Gim’me - All that You Can! My Belly Sticks out - in All my Duds - ‘Cause I Really Love my - SPUDS! (C) - TKH. P.S. ... PEEWEE ... YEP ... TATERS IS GOOD! I forgot to include my all-time favorite kind - that which probably built most of my magnanimous Belly .... POTATO CHIPS ! Especially the UTZ brand - Regular, Ripple, Kettle-Cooked, Old Bay, BBQ, Sour Cream n' Chives, Bacon-Cheese ... er, ah, um ... be back in a sec - got an Urge comin' on ....... 'SPUD-MAN' ...

Mashers and gravy is my fave. By the way, your photo is of the Heart Attack Grill whose spokesperson just died of, well you know, a heart attack. A fine poster child. I wrote an allegedly humorous poem about it a few months back. Patrick

I also love potato's, but they are full of carbs & carbs break down into sugar and sugar "can" be a killer for me...so I rarely eat them...though I do love Herr's chips, a comfort food for me...fun write, TK.............Jerseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey

Wow! I better hide my loyal old mutt named 'Tater' from you, he wouldn't like being devoured by the Spud Man.

PS: He survived Katrina by being tossed some daily French Fries by some very kind-hearted demolition workers down on the Gulf Coast.
