Forest Through The Trees What is life asking me to do? How can it be so unfair? From the moment I first heard of you years ago There was complete enchantment. You had me in the way that most matters. I don�t know when it started for you, But for this man who hardly ever dares to dream I think you know in your heart of hearts Few people who have ever lived have known The kind of happiness in store for us. We are dancing around it now, But it�s just a matter of time, not much either, And the walls will be gone, and I�ll be kissing you In one day that lasts the rest of our lives. But you are a criminal, A baggage handler, and your baggage is a human being. They are not to be treated that way. My heart doesn�t allow that kind of thing Or it wouldn�t be worth your love in the first place. There is somebody standing in your blind spot� Your fianc�. I�m supposed to listen to you, your sweet words, But hear his voice speaking of the two of you On your answering machine, See your names together on your business card, Feel like a ghost, invisible, worthless, in the wrong world, Whenever he calls you� And I guess, worst of all, See his engagement ring on your finger. Everything tells me you are the love of a lifetime, The one that almost nobody finds, And people honestly only live for this� Everything tells me life Is good, And all I�ve ever suffered to make me the loving Man I am has finally been proven worth it So I can hold you in my arms And not wait for Heaven like everybody else� Everything tells me this� Except my eyes. This fruit is bittersweet and will only result in misery. As they say, "all that glitters is not gold". Its hard, but I hope your head over-rules your heart...

This is alot like an emotional roller coaster. One second I was in love with the romantic and the next I was in tears for your pain.
Touching, sad, romantic and heartbreaking all at the same time.
