you made the decision john! sometimes no is the best answer to problems like this one, but its hard to let go of love, even when you see it isn't good for you
The hardest thing in the world sometimes is to watch somebody we've grown to care about, make the same life mistakes over and over. There does come a time though when we have to step away, and let them fall on their own. It hurts us as much or more than it does them, but we aren't helping if we are their crutch.
Just remember, they own their pathways, they've made them and are walking them..It's not up to us to sweep every pebble from beneath their feet.
