What’s There?
What’s in my heart? What could be there?
The curtains part on love and care
And one thing more I always see-
The haunting dream of you and me.
There’s not a moment I don’t feel
A love I can’t believe is real-
What’s in my heart? It does insist-
This dream is futile to resist.
It weighs on me both night and day-
This love that will not go away-
No matter what I say or do
I’m hopelessly in love with you.
So much for life on solid ground,
That does not work with you around-
This constant battle we do fight
Won’t end until we get this right.
And yet, what can that ever mean?
With all that seems to come between-
What’s in my heart? No answers now-
But there must be a way somehow.
What’s in my heart? I’m looking still-
And if I must, I always will-
The answer- we already know-
The time? Our hearts will tell us so.
John H. Bidwell
This love that will not go away-
No matter what I say or do
I’m hopelessly in love with you.
I am very familiar with such sentiments, John. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,
Regis
I wonder what will happen when you lift the lid off of this...
It might be really nice.
And my yes, I agree with Jerry!
Never give up.. just assault her.
Honestly, I'm sure all the girls see the nobility of your character and surrender to you over and over again, do they not?
Blessings,
Christine
Best wishes, Diana...
