With Me.

I want to take you with me
And in certain ways I do
Walking slow or swiftly
With my heart so full of you.

The world just so much wonder
With a wish to somehow share-
The clouds or stars I’m under
Wonder why you are not there.

I’d point to living creatures
And we’d smile a certain way-
At miracles- the features
That have made a special day.

Your turn, you share a vision
That I never would have seen
Together a decision
Of two hearts just coming clean.

Living this distracted-
I’ll confess if it’s a sin.
The way my heart’s reacted
To a dream that I can’t win.

Nature always teaches-
Is an answer in the clouds?
A humble heart that reaches-
Walks away from all the crowds.

I’ll be there in the silence-
In the wind it’s you that sings
In humble prayer- compliance-
We’ll see what the future brings.
