Agree with Lady below ,a breakup is much preferred to years of anguish and abuse...which destroys the very soul...I truly sympathise...one of my sisters suffered the same agony..she eventually broke from him after years of trying to cure this fatal addiction..was the best decision she ever made...

The liquid kind of which you speak, is bad, but sometimes even
worse are the intoxicants one cannot see, but only feel...
Like love...which brings an addiction from which we may never recover.

I agree this is very powerful and emotive. She has destroyed more homes and lives than any other mistress.
