I am drowning.
I could take my last breath
and float very far away, where night is day

I believe in that place of union and LOVE.
It is heaven.
The truth is, I never felt so alive
as I felt when I was "dead".
The greater pain is living
when it's so much easier not to.
Life isn't measured in holding your breath
while still longing to breathe.
We only really begin to "live"
when there is no need to breathe.

Written a while ago and revived. I believe that if we are to share, we are to share in all vulnerability. There have been times in my life when letting go seemed to be the easier thing.
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
