This poem was not written by me but by someone close to me. I wanted to share it with my AD friends and keep it here, a tangible memory. It brought tears to my eyes and I believe it always will.
Thanks to all who sent me warmth, love and prayers. I have faith that my brother will make it, as I did.

i'm thinking about this man who was, just yesterday, the other Throwaway Kid the other half of your wide-eyed, freckle-faced world who then, as now, looked to you for comfort, encouragement, hope, love wholeness in a world that to his bewildered eyes and fragile heart refused to make sense what he sought, you always gave him when it didn't exist, you conjured it when you didn't believe it, you envisioned it anyway and for him, you made it so the world as it is a daunting struggle the world as it should be, he sees in you, his sweet, loving Sister his Angel
Your brother has your love. That is the best healing he can get. The rest of us can pray. My sincere best wishes always. Love.

Thank you posting this Poet’s work, Chanti. Although a truly heartwrenching write, it was delivered with style and grace, as to be expected from your remarkable den, Poet. There is a strong bond of love between you and your brother... hang on to that, knowing that you are with him - always. I will keep both you and your brother in my prayers and specifically pray that your love he carries with him will give him the strength to keep going and to find you again.
