Day and night
Thoughts take flight
Sun and moon
Lovers in tune

Sun Dreams of Moon

Day surrenders
to an Ashen dusk
with wash of brushed silk
And the sun sighs, as his love
Lady moon,
resplendent in her cloak of milk
Rises gracefully
from her velvet bed
Beatific in her calm
mirrored in the still lake
Sir sun slides below the sheets of horizon
The night is where the lady reigns supreme

and he glides into dream

I envisioned a love affair between nature’s own - Crossing paths
never to unite. Beautiful imagery…
The closing of a day...the opening of another.

Thnx Chanti for this very romantic poem. The language is very sweet, and something we would say to our beau, as we lay looking up at sky. May the Lord Jesus bless you and yours, and all those whom you love, and be with you laways, and at your side constantly. With much lvoe in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Oh wow, this is "beautific"! Imagery Imagery IMagery! It reads like it's a flowing silk scarf like the one being worn (by you on the front page) revealing the soul (eyes) of the poetic depth that I feel AND see in this.

I like the phrase "cloak of milk." I tried to wear a cloak of milk once when I was a kid. It didn't fit. ba dump bump

But seriously..........This poem reminds me of the movie Ladyhawk, in a way. Where two lovers are cursed so that they are only able to see each other at sunrise or sunset. Together forever, forever apart. Perhaps you were inspired by this story?

As elegant an entrance and exit as a beautiful queen in
a gossamer gown. The graphic merely enhances the full-bodied,
lyrical, visionary write you have penned, personifying nature,
while bringing two human beings into clear focus.
I love it!
