We journey in a rowing boat upon a gently moving stream Without oars to steer our path - we move with the flow of the current. A comforting rocking motion lulls us to semi sleep. The mischievous sun flitters over our bare skin in a game of peek-a-boo with the overhanging trees. Peace pervades as the redolence of earth-scented air is sleepily breathed into our lungs. The greater peace, however, comes from the embrace of loving arms and in listening to the gentle rhythmic beat of a lover's heart...
We reach out to each other for answers and seldom find them. The most we can hope for is a lonely soul to find us, a warm heart to embrace us,and toleration.

What a wonderful place to be ... this is beautiful!
Both poetry and watercolour are tranquil and oh, so soothing and evocative. I can feel, smell, see and taste every breath of this, Chanti, it is so tactile. This rocks as smooth as love's lullaby and the sense of safety and security is like being swaddled close to the breast - so warm and comforting. Just gorgeous. A blissful and contented Lady Of Shallot-type write. Makes me just want to go do it and to just "go with the flow"... Excellent, TY LOL Kate xx
