This has meaning for me. Written at 3 am in the morning during a sleepless night. The sketch is my own.

Features blotted out
An ache resonated within my words
In an instant you heard me
Received me
Believed in me
Stripped naked before your eyes
Nothing left to hide
In that instant you saw me
and adored me
Finally I understood
I was not found with your senses
but in your soul
All along
I've been in you
I am you
and you are me...

A plethora of substance in a paucity of words. You are a fine practitioner of poetry. (And a fine artist.)

When we stand "stripped naked" (whether literally or metaphorically) and others still love us, it is then that we understand the true meaning of love.

This touched me to the core. Thank you.

Love,
Tami

You have clearly defined that moment of awareness when we realize that we are not alone and that we are not now, nor have we ever been a solo traveler. Great job on the poem and on the art.
Take care,
Sherry

Loved the way the very first line tied into sketch. The word "awesome" is so overused anymore, but it may be the best single word to describe the combination of your art mediums! - Duke

Interesting poem and artwork. What medium is this done in? It looks like a photo with some filter work.

An intense balance of crisis and resolution through the recognition of self within the presence of adored "other." From the aptly mystical image in the sketch to the exquisite articulation of the verse that follows, ALL ALONG stands as a mixed media feast for the mind and spirit.

... Straight to the pride of place in the library! :)) CHANTI! To say this is the eyes, breath, mind and fingers of angels would be laughable understatement: this is grace pure and potent gifted upon you, not only as salve of your own soul but to minster to the depths of all who are privileged to drink it in. If I were able to create such perfection even once in my lifetime, then my life would have been worthwhile. You think this is Kate hyper-babble? It's Kate very, very awed... and grateful. Bless you for the wonder of sharing in this. LOL Kate xxx And, yes, I speak just like wot I write... :))

Both art and verse are outstanding. They compliment each other, as though they were both exhaled within the same breath.

Would that it be so, Chanti. I can feel you through this. Probably you don't want me to. You don't know how much this touches me. It's okay. Don't worry about it. Please don't be upset. Respectfully yours in love always...
