A poem about going back only to arrive at the same place...

Poem Artwork

I was caught up
In a full circle

That spun around
From past to present

As time stepped aside
To deliver a "gift"
That I could see
   but
      could not
         open.
Such frustration!
But it helped me understand

that even though we yearn
We must learn to discern
And not overlook
all the facts.

Now I know that I need
to sow some new seed
     Look forward
and never look back...

Such a meaningful poem that makes me read your verses again... ...I really do think I "get it." I have always felt it easy to understand your messages. I always have loved/love your writing. Sending you best wishes with love and blessings,

Régis

I think we all go through periods when we wonder,
What is my path, my destiny?
Sometimes when we quit searching the answers
are in plain sight. Funny how that happens :-)

Everything comes full circle and Chanti, whatever passions you are trying to ignite again I hope you succeed. Just remember you aren't the person you were in the past and even in the present we change from day to day...

Always,

Deborah

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
