Love, it colors with rainbows
And bubbles and sparkles,
effervescent within
Ever conscious of your presence
It dwells in my heart like a bird
That only sings when you call
Your eyes, your smile,
never leave me
I see you in the dark,
You live in my dreams
Your touch, a memory
I’ve have not yet stored
And yet, I know you,
and you know me,
intimately
We met, and unguarded, I fell in love
before I thought to put up walls
In time, I opened wide
Until what was within
Could no longer be denied.
It’s become everything
And even if you do not know it
You, my love
have become my all!
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
you've made a great love connection. My your days ahead
be joyous and fulfilling.
