Searching the endless corridors of time,
wandering the ruins of yesterday’s dream,
exploring the unknown, just hoping to find,
the meaning to the puzzle, in nature’s scheme.

Discovering the harsh realities of living,
the struggle of existence a constant chore,
life for the taking, devouring the giving,
as evil lurks just behind the closed door.

Strong of heart, soon discover the fight,
for survival has never been a gift of birth,
sometimes you lose, even when your right,
the sword of death sheds blood upon the earth.

Truth lies in wasteland, upon the ground,
where greed and power created the pain,
escaping from the cloud that surrounds,
discovering true love, will keep one sane.

Secrets of life are hidden in the mortal soul,
sealed from the mind’s materialistic fashions,
love can release the mysteries to be told,
bringing forth the essences of life’s passions.
