Ocean’s Intrigue　

An ocean breeze filled the salty air,

mighty whitecaps beating the shore,

a majestic seaside there just to share,

wind blowing, knocking upon the door.



Constant roar made a deafening sound,

the water splashed off the giant rocks,

the forces of nature by the sleepy town,

while in the bay so still, boats by docks.



Sky ever blue reaching as far as we see,

meeting the ocean, the two become one,

nature splendor magnificent as can be,

whitecaps clashing their job never done.



Mystery of the sea an enigma of it’s own,

never stopping on it’s journey ever deep,

a musical concert with a loud crashing tone,

waves come in all sizes from small so steep.



From the land to the sea, it’s legacy unfolds,

a perpetual force that spouts beauty and fear,

always moving, splashing, crashing so bold,

intrigue of the ocean keeps drawing us near.
