Forgiveness Is Free

I have traveled many miles
trying to rid myself of thee
scanned sordid souls embalmed
with scandalous fears
stored cantankerous venom
hurled at me...

Blistered feet cry out in pain
heart so heavy it may break
must remember my Savior's grace
as I forgive the hurt you've placed
that burdened me causing disgrace
now my journey ends in peace...
