Atop the furthest icy cap, sits a castle made of glass.
Snow birds play among the gaps, quietly they soar high in the sky.
Reindeer prance and dance for fun, soon Old Man Winter's time will come.
He awakens from his slumbering state, an icy smile does cross his weathered face.
A rumbling yawn cuts through the snow, a premiere to his winter wonderland show.
Slowly he inhales his sage misty sigh, he fills his lungs with ice cold pride.
Exhale he does, a gracious gift, an eerie silence, settles in.
"Be true to yourself, when all seems lost, Be true to yourself, for life is short! Be true , be true in whatever you do. Be true , be true for truth is in you!"
Listen closely if you dare, heed this gift, if you care.
Old Man Winter's job is done, now we wait for Mister Sun...

Hello Zenith!
I wish to apologize with all my heart for not having dropped by and reviewed any of your poems of late. I have been extremely busy publishing 3 poetry E-Zines, in which many of you have been featured. One of my cats just died yesterday, December 24. In additiona, I have been much disillusioned with Author's Den. However, I shall try and make up for not having at least visited your AD, by dropping by more often in future, especially in 2004.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2004.
Also, re your poem, well, isn't it just the right kind of "heart" message for Christmas? And the sun starts returning in a few days!
Please do drop by my neglected den and review once in a blue moon. I would be appreciative.
