Rendezvous

There is a time
Between the darkness and the dawn,
A time perhaps,
Between the twilight and the darkness.

There is a place
Between the earth and the sky,
There is a time
Between the night and the day.

When loneliness can no longer hide,
Where solitude can be one’s true guide,
When the past no longer holds fast,
Where life’s challenges no longer last.

A unique place will be our rendezvous,
An eternal time to always be with you,
A place the world to finally eschew,
A time when we bid the world adieu.

A time when we will know when,
A place where we have never been,
A time when we will meet again,
A place where dreams truly begin.
