Sometimes I wonder
Where fate might take me.
What my feet may find when I get there?
Will I have breath left over to spare,
Where my legs may linger and take rest?
A destiny where I am always put to the test,
Would it be good in advance my life to know?
Upon close reflection, I don’t really think so.
Life’s mystery would be taken completely away;
My destiny would still have its story to say.
Knowing in advance wouldn’t change a thing;
Sorrow and loss would still its own misery bring.
I learned one thing in life while taking my stride,
A true knowing comes later without undue pride.
We meet our destiny on the roads we have taken,
Looking back now, not a moment have I forsaken.
We all travel down our road of life. Some travel it well like you and I and others travel it badly. Fate certainly plays a part in how hard that road is.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
Very well expressed on a personal level.

taking us on journeys,
