Whatever You give,
I will still want more.
Whatever You give,
I will fill to the brim my core.
Give me a thimble,
And I will work as a humming bee.
Give me a seashell,
And I will listen to waves in the sea.
Give me a sieve,
And I will sift the desert sands.
Give me a hoe,
And I will cultivate farm lands.
Give me a shovel,
And I will cut through the mountain.
Give me a cup,
And I will steal from youth’s fountain.
Give me your eyes,
And I will understand your heart.
Give me your love,
And I will never from you depart.
Give me imagination,
And I will create mystery in the stars.
Give me life’s spice,
And I will collect its flavor in jars.
Give me knowledge,
That I might ignorance withstand.
Give me insight,
That I might life’s mystery understand.
Whatever You give me,
I will multiply in my store.
Whatever You give me,
I will never expect less or more.
