Farewell Time!
You are not what you seem.
Farewell this fleeting presence!
You are not what you mean.
Time appears to be there,
But it has no real presence.
The present soon to be past,
The future present, then past.
On the outside, the body does age,
But innerly, the spirit is a sage.
Time seems to be everything,
When in fact time is nothing.
In the passing of the hour,
Dies only the body of a flower.
The soul and the spirit
Lives in the eternity of now.
Nothing need come forward,
If it only just slips backward.
The passing of centuries means nothing,
When the life of the soul holds fast.
Begone Time, I now bid you farewell;
I am no longer cast under your spell.
Time can be such a mystical illusion at times, it's the now that matters most, live love laugh and don't worry too much about the morrow, it will be here soon enough, at our age we needn't be slaves to time, just special moments, take care, xo
I love your view of life. Time has no meaning if you believe that our souls are ageless. Our bodies are only shells that hold our souls. I need to remember that every time I look in the mirror.
Hoping for the best from me, John. Disregarding what you have lived with probably all your life is not going to be an easy thing to master, but I feel you are the man who can win the battle. Goo look.
Conscious life is measured by time. Without air, 10 minutes. Without water, 3 days. Without food, 21 days. A lifetime, 120 years. Thinking on a higher plane, a spiritual one, you describe surpassing these limits In an ongoing life of a "soul."

Your rumination of Time is reminiscent of many Eastern philosophers who disregard time in the traditional sense and see it as paradox: an idea that either captures or liberates one, depending on how attached they are to any and everything. You obviously accept its essence as one of man's limiting habits, or a perception into that which is not time, but only space of the universe.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
