A new burning desire
Flame becomes fire
With hope to aspire
I don my fancy attire
To rise from the mire
Free, a bird on a wire
Sitting there like a friar
Always alert, never tire
My thoughts rise higher
My open mind to inspire
We need nothing to hire
No boss who can me fire
I pluck music on my lyre
Accompanied by a choir
My lyric music is my sire
I do so enjoy being a flier
I pause on a church spire
Aging make me feel dire
Soon I will need to retire
To wait patiently to expire
As I land on a funeral pyre
