Buried Treasure

Not every sorrow needs a new season;
Not every delight needs a clear reason.

Not every secret requires a justification;
Not every mystery requires a revelation.

Not every smile contains the element of surprise;
Not every tear contains the seeds of our demise.

Not every untruth demands our retraction;
Not every truth demands our satisfaction.

Not every cowardice knows its own persuasion;
Not every bravery knows of a suitable occasion.

Not every weakness betrays a timid mind;
Not every strength betrays a fierce heart.

Not every hatred plants seeds of destruction;
Not every love plants the seeds of adoration.

Words imagined hold a wealth of buried treasure;
Spoken words hold wisdom beyond measure.
