When the end comes,
I will set aside all care.
When the end comes,
I will still need to dare.
When the end comes,
I can relinquish all despair.
When the end comes,
I will surrender my flair.
When the end comes,
Life will be beyond repair.
When the end comes,
My soul I will lay bare.
When the end comes,
Then nothing left to share.
When the end comes,
May I be at peace in prayer.
When the end comes,
I might even utter a swear.
When the end comes,
I need breathe no more air.
When the end comes,
Heavenly trumpets will blare.
When the end comes,
A final destination will be there.
When the end comes,
I will end up somewhere.
