We envy the anonymity of the silent intruder;
We mock the advances of the unworthy suitor.
We envy without honor another’s prosperity;
Few honor without envy another’s intensity.
We envy the courage of the passionate lover;
We distain the free spirit of an uncharitable giver.
Anger appears fiery and fury can be compelling;
While jealousy exposes us in a way most telling.
Jealousy never wishes to show the dark of its face;
It keeps to the shadows and knows well its place.
Vanity a weakness that shows its preening face,
While pride always there ready to take its place.
We treat everything in life with particular care;
Sometimes we cross red lines whenever we dare.
Clever! There are so many "red lines" to be careful of not crossing in everyone's lives. Jealousy certainly does bring out the true person. 'Enjoyed, John!

Those red lines are there to test us, at least I feel that is the case. Throughout the years I never feared the red lines. Have crossed many before me, most of them gave me more than I expected. Even today I fear not the red lines.
I have done so decidedly, John. At times to my regret, too. I would imagine that what's a red line for some, though, is no line at all for others.
