-- Moments of My Life -- By John Herlihy Life is full of moments To come and go at will Intrepid is time’s arrow Moving ever forward still Few best moments exist In brief seconds of time Few sad moments persist These moments also mine The moon on the horizon A world’s celestial token Butterfly hovers on the fly Lands on the flower’s eye My moments never linger Identity writ in my finger Any moment without strife As best moment of my life Take moments as they come From your own destiny spun - - - - - - (c) John Herlihy 28 October 2018

INDEED 'MOMENTS' COME AND GO AS THEY SEE FIT...BRINGING THE 'LIFT' THAT IS SO NECESSARY AND TAKING AWAY THE GLOOM. THEY FLY IN ON SCENES(PAST & PRESENT), A MEMORY...A WORD, A SONG OR EVEN A SCENT IN THE AIR. THANK GOD FOR THEM ARRIVING RIGHT ON TIME WITH 'EXACTLY' WHAT IS NEEDED AT 'EXACTLY' THE RIGHT...MOMENT.
