God’s vision holds his Reality within it,

A vision so vast and beatific, it has no limit.

Far beyond the earthly realm of our humanity

Lies the Divine Mind whose Eye sees with infinity.

We humans envision Divine Light in the sun to behold,

While Divinity the entire universe in His Hand may hold.

The sun, moon, and stars play their overtures at his feet;

Celestial spheres roam the heavens universal law to meet.

The spiraling galaxies wander in clusters of speckled light,

A symphony of light within the envelope of an eternal night.

A symphony, indeed, playing the music of celestial spheres.

If we listen closely, we hear echoes in the drum of our ears.

All the perfumes of Arabia may infatuate the human nose;

But the angelic scent of attar of roses we can only suppose.

Do you see anything remotely human in this Divine Realm?

God, the Almighty, the ship’s master standing at the helm.

Resolute He is, standing there, always was, always will be,

Captured in the vision of the Divine Eye the universe to see.

The human eye can imagine, desire, and seek fields Elysian,

In themselves but a speck of light, in the glory of God’s vision.
