-- Light in a Distant Star -- John Herlihy How far can a person shout, A distance measured less than a mile. How long can a person pout, Much longer than a simple smile. How long can a person be patient, As long to finally achieve one’s end. How long to endure as a sick patient, As long till one finally meets the end. How long can I my troubles endure, As long as I still have a little hope. How long until my soul becomes pure, As long until I climb up the divine rope. That's a humongous distance to overcome. I prefer us taking small steps and considering what path we want to take into the future. Certainly not one that increases destruction, but one that saves our planet for us and still allows us to prosper.

Such a perfect last stanza in the time we are a-livin' This is truly an adroit and poignant dedication to the principal of tenacity. Well done, John.

We are limited only by the limits we set upon ourselves. I think to ask how this and how that puts us in danger of setting those limits, which isn't always a good thing. They can lead to self defeat. So why worry overmuch about it, unless you're baking a cake?
