-- Some Things Never Explained --

John Herlihy

Wrapped contentedly in her arms,

Drowned in the rapture of her perfume.

My eyes in the darkness of closed eyes,

Lost in the light of sweet surrender.

The journey, my travelling days now over,

There is no other place that I need to go.

In giving myself up, I have found my gift,

My gift I give to her whose heart I uplift.

As I am uplifted, this is a mutual embrace,

We explore as blind men the other one face.

There is beauty in the eyes of the fingers,

In the darkness to explore mystery that lingers.

I begin to cry and in crying, she too cries out,

“Whatever happen that could bring this about?”

“Hush,” I whisper, “some things never explained.”

Soon we sleep in the silence the night contained.

SOME 'BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS' CANNOT BE EXPLAINED. WE JUST INDULGE AND APPRECIATE THEM FOR THE 'GIFTS' THAT THEY ARE...AND THANK GOD FOR THEM. SO BEAUTIFULLY DONE, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+ INSPIRATIONS.

Pleasant dreams… That's what! Looking forward to them and hope they come very often. In the meantime, can't wait to get home, kiss me, hug me and squeeze me. As much as possible before we both go to sleep.
