I have a knack of finding a secret inside,

On those outside forces I never relied.

In all created things lies a hidden gem,

That I hold to the light firmly by the stem.

The physical world wears a deceiving veil,

While true spirit inside will always prevail.

A jonquil gently extends its fragile petals,

Beauty shines forth, into the heart settles.

The eye looks on the world with presence,

The inner eye takes on the world’s essence.

The storm clouds there on the horizon brew,

But the force of their mystery I always knew.

The crab, the turtle, the snail all have a shell,

But how they live inside nobody can truly tell.

The hidden secret within lies ready to be told,

We must lift the veil with courage to be bold.
