To understand the workings of mind.

The senses open the body into the mind,

The body opens the mind into the soul.

The mind opens the soul’s inner senses,

The inner senses open onto the spirit.

There in the innermost source of life

Not a murmur or whisper, not a sound.

There at the edge of a world so vast,

The essence of the true person is found.
