-- A United World -- John Herlihy Whispers of impatience Bring Whispers of discontent. Whispers of patience Bring Whispers of contentment. Vigilance in the morning Brings Patience in the evening. Patience in the evening Brings Peace in the morning. Good deeds in life Bring Weight upon the scale. Bad deeds in life Bring Weight upon the scale. A statement of contrition Brings A a sense of humility. A statement of defiance Brings About a sense of arrogance. An act of kindness Brings Love into the world. An act of vengeance Brings Hate into the world. The forces of noise Bring Disorder in the heart. The forces of silence Bring Peace into the heart.
