Whatever is taught may not be remembered,

If you can think, you need not remember.

Day the first thing in the awakening mind,

Many unnecessary things may be left unsaid.

If you think you have enough time,

Remember time may have no time for you.

Neither the hero, the wise man, or the scholar,

Makes the claim that he is one.

When lost in darkness, try to light a candle,

Curse the darkness and you will find no light.

If you have an argument with a fool,

He never knows and you should know better.

Wisdom often listened to, but not always heard,

Make sure you take to heart every single word.
