-- The Person You Drew --
John Herlihy
I am not the person that you ever knew;
I have become the person that you drew.
My skin suddenly turned soft to the touch;
Your tender words caress my mind so much.
My eyes are eyes you made bluer than blue;
A scent you imagine draws me closer to you.
The lonely soul you found so lost in a cavern,
Now feels all lit up like a Christmas lantern.
My energy held in reserve now has an outlet;
My comfort and advice you wear as a bracelet.
Your soul now opened into depths of my soul,
Awash in the light of a happiness out of control.
A bare shinny scalp to remind me of not being ;
You drew a noble visage whose laurels are sung.
Your lover’s eye a clear mirror of all my life traces;
Seeing me, you light the features of both our faces.

You have been smitten. Admit it. Or you could just show us
a picture.
