In the day lies the coming night,

Wherein the light is counted in hours.

In the night lies the coming day,

Wherein preserved dark, mystical powers.

In the dawn lies the coming sunset,

Wherein our hearts will be thrilled.

In the sunset lies the coming dawn,

Wherein our hearts will be stilled.

In the sun lies the light of the moon,

Wherein our hearts will be dazed.

In the moon lies the light of the sun,

Wherein our hearts will be phased.

In the light lies the shadows of darkness,

Wherein our hearts are stilled.

In the darkness lies the star-touched light,

Wherein our hearts are fulfilled.

In our happiness lies a latent sorrow,

Wherein our hearts at the brink of despair.

In our sorrow lies a latent happiness,

Wherein our hearts are steeped in prayer.

In our courage lies a cowardice,

Wherein our hearts suffer a growing fear.

In our cowardice lies a budding courage,

Wherein our hearts find strength drawing near.

In our certainty lies a host of doubts,

Wherein our hearts will be disappointed.

In our doubts lies a host of certainties,

Wherein our hearts will be anointed.

In our success lies the seeds of failure,

Wherein our hearts provide a place to grow.

In our failures lie the seeds of success,

Wherein our hearts their encouragement bestow.

In our hopes lie the misery of despair,

Wherein our hearts feel as a venue of death.

In our despair lies the mercy of our hopes,

Wherein our hearts feel as a venue of rebirth.

In our knowledge lies a font of ignorance,

Wherein our hearts may be struck dumb.

In our ignorance lies the font of knowledge,

Wherein our hearts filled by light of the sun.

In our truths lie a multitude of lies,

Wherein our hearts will be darkened.

In our lies lie a multitude of truths,

Wherein our hearts will be awakened.

In the natural order lies no room for error,

Wherein our hearts feel life’s tender caress.

In the universe balance lies the truth forever,

Where our hearts are and will be fully blessed.
