-- Blessings -- John Herlihy Solitude is a blessing, And enjoys rare delight. Quietude witnessing, Moonlight in the night. Light is a blessing, Without shadow. Color addressing, An arc of rainbow. Water is a blessing, Rhythm in its flow. Purity possessing, Waves winds blow. Pure love is blessing, Beings bathed in light. True love confessing, United day and night. Patience is a blessing, Burden in the weight. Endless be the waiting, Beauty lies in the wait. Mystery is a blessing, To pursue the unknown. Knowing can be lacking, Waiting to be known. Not knowing a blessing, The blind need no eyes. Life keeps us guessing, To uphold the surprise. - - - - - - Copyright © John Herlihy Sunday 5 February January 2023

You are certainly fully blessed as portrayed in this poem. I hope those that are blind the lab be offended by your line in the last stanza. When I think of Ray Charles having to get his pay and dollar bills to avoid being shortchanged, there are some parts of life that having a pair of eyes is the only way to make it in the rapidly changing technological environment.
