Of all those stars there in the heavenly sky,

Which one of those stars can I claim to be mine?

The Polaris star, the highest star in the night sky,

Can I make a claim this one to be most truly mine?

The stars may seem aloof and remote, yet never scold;

They lend a comforting warmth when the nights are cold.

They whisper to me of ancient mysteries and I listen,

Stories of gods in ancient ages as these diamonds glisten.

I lay myself down, my head held upon the ground,

Gazing up at the plate of night stars without a sound.

You see that little star not far from Polaris so grand;

Therein lies nestled my star shining on me in this land.

Yearning, we gaze into galaxies of this celestial globe.

Glistening upon the earth in night’s ancestral robe.

We are souls that while on earth are vulnerable;

As stars that fill the night sky, we are invulnerable.

Shining stars for the asking, filling the firmament;

Souls that live forever as the night’s adornment.
