Ever seeking, ever finding,

Until the moment found.

Ever probing, ever knowing,

Until true freedom unbound.

Ever studying, ever learning,

Until the knowledge realized.

Ever testing, ever tasting,

Until the wisdom internalized.

Ever feeling, ever experiencing,

Until our emotions overflow.

Ever helping, ever offering,

Each gift with its own bow.

Ever on one’s own, ever alone,

Until the loneliness finds solitude.

Being alone, yet never feeling alone,

Content in this realm of quietude.

Ever surveying, ever gazing,

To the horizon and beyond.

Ever reviewing, ever witnessing,

For all those things we longed.

Ever questioning our true identity,

To find the essence at our core.

Ever unveiling the heart of mystery,

And pass through its open door.

Ever in faith, ever believing,
In what lies beyond the known.

Ever feeling in this world unknown,

Yet always by the Spirit of God known.

Ever recalling, ever remembering,

Retrieving things from the past forgotten.

Ever held aloft, ever valued, treasured,

We are all by the Divinity remembered.
