While I find it hard to believe some of your absolute pronouncements in the pairs, I agree that you have come up with a poetic form that requires your usual precision of presentation… Often displaying opposites like night and day.
No one wants to draw the short straw. Or worse, to be caught by the shorthairs. I'm afraid that my infancy in old age will be much longer than the three years it took me to become a useful member of my family.
