The world lies in mystery

That makes certain things strange.

The world has a destiny

That no amount of tears can change.

The world reveals a cruelty

That lies embedded upon its surface.

The world offers a mercy

That lies embedded upon its face.

The world displays a beauty

That fills our eyes with visions sublime.

The world demands a duty

That makes us give account thru time.

The world has nothing to hide,

Revealing its secrets as crystal clear.

In the world’s trust we confide,

And hold its precious value dear.

The world forever turns

That we may witness the day and night.

The world forever yearns

That it may show its face to the light.
